We enjoyed staying with our good friends last week for four days in their beautiful home in The Woodlands, which is quite an impressive community just north of Houston. The weather was perfect - 70’s and sunny - so we spent some time relaxing by their pool in the mornings and enjoying a fire out there one evening.
Our first day, we took a hike in the George Mitchell Nature Preserve on the Flintridge Trail. Wonderful to see all the green in mid-March!
Our husbands (good friends since high school) went golfing together the next two days, while we explored local indie bookstores!
On our last evening, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Goose’s Acre, canal-side Irish pub in the Waterways area of the Woodlands. After dinner, we walked around the area, enjoying the art, water features, and lights.
We had a great time with our friends and hated to leave!
